Key Accountabilities:
• Execution of daily operations of the item master data management and maintenance.
• Execute and monitor item master data management and maintenance activities while following global master data policies and practices
• Execution of processes to audit & measure the efficiency and quality of the MDM maintenance process
• Facilitating the development, implementation, training and ongoing improvements of a global setup/maintenance process in the assigned areas
• Support the global MDM team to ensure the APAC region is following the global process and achieving data quality metrics
• Support and execute data cleanup projects to improve data accuracy
• Become the super user for specific Oracle functionality (i.e. WebADI, Item workflow, Product Information Management-PIM)
• Analysis of business processes and identify opportunities for standardization and continuous improvements
• Assisting with the execution of the Global MDM strategy & processes to standardize /centralize master data management and maintenance activities
• Expand oversight of MDM areas in non-ERP systems (i.e. TeamCenter, Amber Road, eCom,Demantra,WMS, etc.) as defined by leadership
• Achieve and maintain key performance indicators as agreed with senior management and global MDM leadership.
Education Qualification:
• Experience with executing established business processes and data standards (business process / data standard experience in the following areas is a plus: item, BOM, Routing)
• Strong understanding of how data is used for reporting and transactional activities
• College degree, technical certifications, or equivalent experience beneficial
Technical Competence & Skills:
• Project management experience, lead cross functions work on the project timeline, milestone……
• Strong analytical abilities with experience extracting data and developing reports in an ERP environment, Business Intelligence, SQL query is plus
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
• College degree, technical certifications, or equivalent experience beneficial
Leadership Competence:
• Ability to work with a team and influence others
• Project management, ability to work with cross functions to define/standardize the new process.
• Experience with providing support and training
• Ability to work independently and work on multiple task assignments
Relevant Experience:
• Strong Item master data management experience, like standard item management process, item creation workflow, life cycle management
• Project management experience, lead cross functions work on the project timeline, milestone
• Working knowledge of Oracle R12 application systems processes and support preferred.
• Knowledge of different types of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions
Others :
• Strong verbal and written English and region-specific language skills.
• Speak, read and write in Mandarin is a must.
