Our Wellington team is busy and diverse with exciting times ahead as we are continuously growing and we are now looking for new members to join our paving crew as an Asphalt Paving Operator.
In this role you will have a variety of duties where no two days are the same. You will be undertaking the preparation, laying, and finishing of asphalt pavements and patches. You will be working with a range of asphalt mixes, across a wide variety of work sites. You will be an all-rounder, with a good eye for detail, strong machinery and plant operator skills.
You’ll be keen, eager, willing to learn and prepared to put in an honest day’s work and in return we offer:

About you:
- Have a proven track record in the operation of sealing plant and machinery is essential, along with the appropriate licences: Class 1, 2, and W, T, R endorsements or the ability to obtain these
- Experience in a similar role (roller or paver driver experience)
- Great team player
- Physically fit
- Have a safety-first attitude
The role will also involve shift and weekend work, and overnight stays in other regions. If you are interested in visiting various cities around the region, this could be the position for you!
