Hospice West Auckland has provided community specialist palliative care services for the wider West Auckland area for more than three decades. Our population is mixed urban and rural, and ethnically diverse. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Retail leader who can support an empowered, retail-savvy team who are united in delivering a sustainable financial future for Hospice West Auckland.
We are looking for someone who will be an ambassador for our brand and values and is as passionate about people as they are about targets. Someone who is hands on and will lead from the floor to reduce loss/waste, maximise profits, open new stores and deliver on organisation wide initiatives that will grow our market share while saving the planet.
Working Tuesday – Saturday across 6 retail stores and alongside a great team of store managers, retail assistants, drivers, product sorters, and amazing volunteers – you will make great things happen! Decisions you make and processes you implement will drive profits and support a critical service.

The Primary Purpose of the Retail Area Manager is to lead our second-hand goods retail stores, strengthen HWA’s bottom line and lead us into a positive, sustainable financial future.
