KPJ Healthcare Berhad Is Looking For Executive – Legal Advisory at Kuala Lumpur Full Time

Job Summary

To provide professional advisory to KPJHB and its group of companies in accordance with company policies, corporate governance, law, regulations and meet the user’s need to ensure that the Group’s interest is safeguarded at all times. 

Job Responsibilities

1. To draft, review and finalise contracts and other transactional documents for KPJHB Group to ensure the Group’s full legal rights are protected. 
2. To give accurate and timely legal advice and clarification to all units within the KPJHB Group in a variety of legal language, matters and activities.
3. To maintain current knowledge and updates and give advice on the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act 1998 and regulations and other related statutory provisions.
4. To specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance of regulatory and internal corporate requirements of the KPJHB Group.
5. To conduct legal research on legal issues and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions, operations and changes and development in the law.
6. To communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel etc.), creating relations of trust.
7. To manage and oversee potential disputes and litigation matters for KPJHB Group.
8. To provide support for legal due-diligence exercises.
9. To perform other related duties as required.

Job Requirements

1. Possess a Bachelor Degree in Law (LL.B)
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in the legal field.
3. Highly ethical, discreet and able to maintain confidentiality.
4. Ability to manage large volumes of files and documents, multitask, and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
5. Must be able to work proactively with stakeholders and initiate solutions.
