Bachelor’s Degree in law, secretarial, accounting, business administration, economics, finance or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of work experience in any field.
Experience and/or familiar with the Companies Act 2016, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, Corporate Secretarial and the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance (MCCG) will be an added advantage.
Preferably have fair understanding of Kulim’s operations processes.
Candidates with internal audit, secretarial or legal experience are encouraged to apply.
Sound understanding of the regulatory requirements such as the Companies Act 2016, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and the Malaysian Code on of Corporate Governance (MCCG)and any other relevant authorities.

Good report writing.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Assist with preparation and conducting internal monitoring compliance check and operations’ adherence to regulatory requirements & internal policies.
Track, monitor and drive the resolution of all non-compliance matters.
Assist the compliance team to evaluate the potential commercial and/or operational impact resulting from specific regulatory changes or legislations and any non-compliances.
Assist in updating and maintaining Compliance register as submitted by the Compliance Owner.
Support, coordinate all preparation work in documentation and housekeeping of the compliance matter.
Attend to queries and collaborate with other Compliance Owner, auditors and relevant authorities/regulators when needed.
Assist in preparation of regulatory and management/administrative reporting and tracking, presentation slides and training where relevant.
Keep abreast with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
Assist in establishing and maintaining a robust and effective compliance management framework.
Other ad hoc administrative / project as and when required.
