This role is client-facing and provides an opportunity to further strengthen insurance knowledge and client servicing skills and growing their book of business.
Assist senior client executives in all aspects of client service, including face to face client contact, administration, technical support and business development. The position will include the self-servicing of small to mid-sized client accounts and scheme clients under supervision of senior client executives.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Servicing of our NZ local businesses ensuring growth targets and service standards are met.
- Assist senior client executives with the development, implementation and management of risk management and insurance programs which accurately address client needs; alongside the development of additional business from their existing portfolios and with the acquisition of new business.
- Assist in the development and training of Support Brokers and Brokers by encouraging and developing their skills through on-the-job training, coaching regular performance feedback and external training.
- Implement renewal and broking strategies in accordance with instructions received from senior client executives.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of new technologies and capabilities of the Company.
To be successful in this position you are required to be able to:
- Possess a good working knowledge of all aspects of the Insurance and other relevant legislation.
- Hold strong communication skills to enable you to provide a high level of general insurance service to clients.
- Have a proactive approach to all aspects of account management.
- Hard working and results orientated.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
Qualifications
- New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) – General Insurance Strand or studying toward.
