MTR Corporation Limited Is Looking For Lead Software Governance and Integration Manager (Ref : 2300001C) at Others Full Time

Responsibilities

• Lead a dedicated team of software design expertise to deliver the software governance in the areas of signalling, communications and software control system
• Manage the operations interfaces across all communications, software and control disciplines for new extensions projects with special focus on multi-disciplinary systems and software design
• Oversee and manage software system design with active liaison with internal and external stakeholders for capturing their inputs to the design of the systems for ensuring compliance with stipulated requirements
• Ensure the software verification and validation are completed and the design standards and regulations are upheld.  Develop and enforce software governance framework in particular for critical signalling and software control system
• Collaborate with end-user departments and Independent Safety Assessor (ISA) to ensure the software systems complying with stipulated safety, performance and functional requirements, and to liaise with other project teams to resolve technical and programme issues during the design and testing phases with dedicated technical support provided to operations and maintenance teams
• Optimise the engineering resources for the management of software design, provide engineering services to the operating railway and advise senior management on all design aspects of software and integration systems in MTR network
• Lead independent technical investigation of incidents involving software and make recommendation for improving the safety, resilience and integrity of railway system
• Lead the new technology and product trend review as well as steer the feasibility and technology explorations by identifying, forecasting and overseeing the implementation of appropriate software technology for improving the cost effectiveness and efficiency as well as the life span of core railway systems and equipment

Requirements

• Degree in Electronic / Electrical or a related discipline
• A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience of which 6 years should he at managerial level
• Possession of corporate membership of a recognised professional institution
• Proven exposures in both green and brown fields software and integration projects
• In-depth design knowledge of software and integration systems and the relevant interfaces
• Excellent experience on design management, technical support, maintenance and project management
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management and organisation skills
